We’re pleased to introduce a new Reports section in Show Assist, designed to provide clearer insight into both overall show activity and individual participation.
The Reports section includes two complementary views:
Show Statistics (Annual Statistics)
Show Statistics provides a national, big-picture view of the show environment for a selected year.
It brings together data across provinces, club types, disciplines, breeds, and show formats, allowing users to explore:
How many shows took place and when they were held
Participation levels across months, provinces, and disciplines
Breed activity and geographic distribution
Differences between show types and club types
Long-term trends using historical comparisons
Historical comparison charts allow users to see how the year in focus compares to previous years, helping identify growth patterns, seasonal trends, and shifts in participation over time.
Please note: 2023 is excluded from historical comparisons because the data set for that year is incomplete.
Personal Statistics
Personal Statistics shifts the focus to you.
This report summarises your own show activity over a selected period, including:
Total shows attended and entries made
Dogs competed and average participation levels
Where and when you were most active
Monthly and provincial entry patterns
Breed and discipline-specific awards and class wins (where applicable)
Filters allow you to focus on a specific dog or time period, making it easy to review recent activity or reflect on longer-term participation.
Two views, one story
While Show Statistics explains what is happening across the show community as a whole, Personal Statistics shows how your activity fits into that wider landscape.
Together, they provide both context and detail — from national trends down to individual participation.
The new Reports section is available now under the Reports menu in Show Assist.
